The Flagship Annual Gathering

More than an event.
Something entirely its own.

The Shift is the flagship annual gathering at the heart of The Shift Retreats — one extraordinary day that brings together Liam Browne, Mitch Hutchcraft and Craig Seaton for movement, conversation, shared experience and meaningful connection.

Most of us spend our lives moving from one commitment to the next. Always planning. Always doing. Always giving a little more of ourselves away.

The Shift was created to gently interrupt that rhythm. Not to help you escape your life — but to help you return to it carrying a little less than when you arrived.

It isn't a conference. It isn't a festival. It isn't a wellness retreat. Every detail — from the first warm drink beside the lake to the final candle drifting across the water — has been designed with intention.

Because we believe how you leave matters just as much as how you arrive.

The Experience

The Shift unfolds across a full day — from a gentle arrival beside the lake in the morning through to a fire ceremony and celebration as darkness falls.

The day is built around seven chapters, each designed to prepare you for the next. Together they create a natural emotional arc — from arrival and stillness, through awareness and possibility, to joy and release.

Nothing in The Shift happens by accident. Every conversation, every ritual, every meal and every moment has been thoughtfully designed to help you move gently through that journey in your own way.

Safe. Present. Aware. Choosing. Possible. Joyful. At Peace.

Cacao Ceremony, Movement & Healing

Liam Browne

Liam facilitates throughout the entire day — from the opening Cacao Ceremony at sunrise through to the closing ceremony at dusk. Founder of Full Power Cacao, he weaves shamanic drumming, guided meditation, intuitive healing and sound therapy into a continuous thread of transformation that runs through everything.

"You are the person you have been waiting for."

Mitch Hutchcraft

Mindset, Performance & Inspiration

Mitch Hutchcraft

Mitch's philosophy — Limitless — is built on the belief that most of us are operating well below our actual capacity. As an endurance athlete and speaker, he brings a rare combination of physical rigour and mental depth, challenging you to redefine what you think is possible.

"Most people don't need more information. They need permission."

Craig Seaton

Breathwork & Sound Healing

Craig Seaton

Craig's work centres on the nervous system — using breath and sound as precision tools for deep regulation and release. He co-leads the breathwork session with Liam and holds the afternoon sound bath by the lake, bringing a quiet, grounded presence that makes even the most sceptical participants feel safe enough to go somewhere real.

"The breath is the one thing you can always come back to."

A Journey, Not an Itinerary

How the day unfolds

From 8:30am

Welcome Home

There is nowhere else you need to be.

The Shift begins long before the first session. From the moment you arrive, you're invited to slow down in your own time. Take a warm drink. Walk beside the lake. Find a quiet corner. Sit beside the fire. There are no registration desks. No queues. No pressure to be anywhere except exactly where you are.

Calling In

Before we can move forwards, we first need to arrive.

Together we'll gather for the first shared chapter of the day. Guided by Liam Browne, this experience combines gentle movement, ceremonial cacao, meditation and immersive sound to help quiet the outside world and reconnect with the present moment. Nothing is forced. Nothing is performed.

Opening

Awareness begins with a single breath.

Led by Craig Seaton, this chapter explores the extraordinary impact that something as simple as our breath can have on the way we think, feel and respond to life. Through guided breathwork and quiet reflection, you'll be invited to notice rather than fix. Sometimes the biggest shift begins by simply paying attention.

Nourish

Luxury is having the freedom to choose your own rhythm.

For the first time all day, the timetable disappears. Enjoy a beautifully prepared seasonal lunch. Take part in Pilates. Experience a sound bath. Walk beside the lake. Read. Journal. Rest. Talk. Laugh. Or simply do absolutely nothing. There is no expectation to experience everything.

Expand

Sometimes possibility begins with a story.

In the afternoon, Mitch Hutchcraft invites us to look forwards rather than backwards. Through honest storytelling, humour and conversation, he reminds us that change doesn't always begin with action. Sometimes it begins with permission. You'll leave this part of the day not with a list of goals, but with something much more valuable — hope.

Celebrate

Joy deserves its place too.

As daylight softens, the atmosphere begins to change. The fire is lit once more. Ceremonial cacao returns. Conversations become laughter. Stillness gives way to celebration. Our DJ brings together iconic 90s dance classics and feel-good anthems. Some guests dance from the very first song. Others stay by the fire, chatting with new friends. There is no expectation. Only an invitation.

Release

The day ends quietly, so the feeling can begin.

As darkness settles, we gather once more around the fire. Each guest is invited to let go of something they no longer wish to carry. Later, a candle is carried to the water's edge and released onto the lake — a quiet symbol of hope for whatever comes next. Before you leave, you'll receive one final gift. A simple envelope marked: For a Moment at Home.
